Watch Clermont-Ferrand-awarded short films online
- Festival Scope and the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival have teamed up once again to bring viewers new talents from the world of short films
Festival Scope and the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival are partnering up once again to bring viewers new talents from the world of short films. The recent 41st edition of the gathering awarded many films by both established auteurs and promising young filmmakers, and now a selection of these award-winning shorts, which were presented in three different sections (the international competition, the national competition and the "Labo" competition, which presents more experimental films), is available to watch online.
This selection will highlight, among other films, two live-action shorts: the SACD Award winner Cadavre Exquis by Stéphanie Lansaque and François Leroy, and Tracing Addai by Esther Niemeier, which won Best Animation Film.
Also waiting to be discovered are award-winning shorts that first made a splash during their international premieres, such as Kitao Sakurai's The Passage (Sundance International Film Festival), Beautiful Loser by Maxime Roy (FIFF Belgium) and Las Cruces by Nicolas Boone (Cannes International Film Festival).
All films are being screened from 21 February-10 March. Only 400 free tickets are available per film, on a first-come, first-served basis. Country availability may vary.
All online screenings will be available on Festival Scope, the online platform dedicated to bringing movies fresh from prestigious international festivals to film lovers around the world.
