Below are the open calls for project-in-development workshops and presentations of projects in production.

Beldocs in Progress: Beldocs in Progress (BIP) International is a platform where international documentary projects from the Western Balkans and post-Soviet countries can be presented to the international industry.

Beldocs Academy: Beldocs has announced an open call for the authors and/or producers of feature-length documentary films in the early stages of production to submit their projects for a three-day course with international tutors.

Documentaries for Kids and Youth Development Workshop: Beldocs and European Documentary Network (EDN) are looking for fresh, innovative and edgy projects in development that intend to tell real-life stories to a younger target audience.

Also, an array of interesting discussions on various hot topics, lectures and one-on-one meetings with international film professionals will be organised as part of Beldocs Market, which is due to be held over the same period.

Beldocs Industry 2019 will be held as an integral part of the Beldocs International Documentary Film Festival, which will unspool from 8-15 May 2019. The gathering will showcase more than 100 documentaries from all over the world, split into 13 programme sections and screened in 12 venues.

Beldocs Industry 2019 is funded by the European Union, through Creative Europe MEDIA’s “access to markets” call.
