), Assmar Abdillah and Dany Bomou, the script is set in the North suburb of Paris and focuses on Anja, an eighteen-year-old girl of Senegalese origins, who is attracted to Arthur, a Métis boy and the son of a farmer. Searching herself, she discovers the alternative sphere of the ZAD (for “Zone À Défendre”, meaning “zone to defend”), which fights against a supermarket development project that would expropriate farmland. Between juvenile revolt and romantic encounters, Anja tentatively makes her way towards her future…

Produced by Marie Masmonteil for Elzévir Films, L’Horizon has been pre-bought by Canal+ and by Ciné+. Supported by the box office advance of the CNC and by the Hauts-de-France region (Pictanovo), the feature film is also backed by Emergence and by the Bourse Beaumarchais-SACD. The eight weeks of shooting will take place from 20 May to 12 July in the Oise and Aisne departments, with Elin Kirschfink (Our Struggles [+see also:
