Mikkelsen plays the role of secondary-school teacher Martin, who, along with his three friends and colleagues (played by Thomas Bo Larsen, Lars Ranthe and Magnus Millang), decides to look into a theory that claims that alcohol in the blood opens the mind to the outside world, makes problems less acute and increases creativity. And so the four friends try out an experiment and are thus constantly intoxicated in their everyday lives. The initial results are quite encouraging, as the gang loosens up, which also intrigues their students. Nevertheless, as the experiment progresses, the consequences start to become more and more severe.
