The Wallonia-Brussels Federation Film Centre is lending its support to 48 new film projects, 17 of which are features. Most notably, production support has been granted to the new movie by Fabrice du Welz. While we wait with bated breath for the autumn release of his latest film, Adoration [+see also:

, which stars Thomas Gioria, Fantine Harduin and Benoît Poelvoorde (see the interview), the director will also be shooting his new outing, Inexorable, over the same period. It follows the trials and tribulations of Marcel Bellmer, a famous author who, ever since the staggering success of his first novel, has never really managed to bounce back. by Karim Ouelhaj (Les Films du Carré), a movie that has already been shot and has received support for the finishing stage.

Among the forthcoming projects that have received support at the writing or development stage, we should single out Mobutu, Becoming a Leopard, the feature debut by actor Marc Zinga, produced by Artémis Productions, which takes a look back at the tortuous life story of the Congolese dictator. Another project set against the backdrop of dictatorships, but on another continent and during another period in history, is Hitler et Mussolini by Frédéric Fonteyne and Anne Paulicévich. As we await the release of their latest film, Working Girls [+see also:

, the two auteurs are working on recounting the life story of an art historian who is forced to show the Nazi dictator around the most beautiful museums in Rome and Florence, under duress. The movie will be staged by Versus Production.
