Written by Yann Gozlan, Simon Moutaïrou, Jérémie Guez and Nicolas Bouvet-Levrard, the script centers on Mathieu, a brilliant analyst working for the Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses (BEA) (The Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety) on the unexplained crash of a civil plane which led to the death of 300 passengers...

Produced by Thibault Gast and Matthias Weber for 2425 Films and by Wassim Béji for WY Productions (the two structures being partners of the director on the 3rd consecutive feature), Black Box is co-produced by France 2 Cinéma and by StudioCanal (which will release the film in French theatres in late 2020 and is handling international sales). Pre-bought by France 2, Canal+ and OCS, the feature will finish filming mid-November and is also supported by the Soficas Indéfilms, Cofinova, Cinémage and SG Images.

For the record, 2425 Films has also produced, among other titles, Thomas Kruithof’s The Eavesdropper [+see also:
