Bordeaux crowns Twinni

The 5th edition of the International Womens’ Film Festival in Bordeaux, has awarded the Golden Wave for Best Film to the Austrian director Ulrike Schweiger for Twinni. Twinni is produced by Helmut Grasser for Allegro Film and written by the director together with Michael Tanczos. The story is set in Austria during the summer of 1980 and follows the misadventures of Jana, a 13 year old. The film is halfway between a comedy and a drama and was released in Austrian theatres on September 5.
