DAFilms launches Films for Italy programme to support Lombardy hospitals

DAFilms, the international online distribution platform for documentary and experimental films, has announced its special curated programme Films for Italy, consisting of 20 Italian short and feature-length documentary films. 40% of the proceeds from every purchase will go to support hospitals in Lombardy, in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Emergency, and the remaining 60%, as is the case with all of the titles on the platform, is paid to the film’s copyright holders – thus also supporting Italian filmmakers.

"Italy is now facing one of the worst impacts of the current global pandemic. Since its inception, DAFilms has been an international platform that links countries and continents together through film. And this is one of the reasons why we want to support Italy during this crisis," DAFilms says in its press release.
