Cowboys & Angels in the US

David Gleeson’s urban coming-of-age film Cowboys & Angels has been acquired by TLA Releasing for US theatrical and video distribution. The film was sold at the Toronto Film Festival by Media Luna Entertainment.
“Cowboys & Angels has a compelling multifaceted storyline, which ties together into a very strong and hopeful ending, something audiences are looking for today”, said TLA’s director of acquisitions, Richard A.Wolff.
Written and directed by young filmmaker David Gleeson, the film stars Michael Legge, Allen Leech, Amy Shields and Frank Kelly. Set in Limerick, it is the story of a young man grappling with the pains and joys of adulthood. The film will be released in the US in winter 2004.
