Spaden wins again

The 29-year old Jens Jonsson, the winner of a Jameson Short Film Award at the last Umeå Short Film Festival, has just won two other prizes in Palm Springs, USA for his new short film, Spaden.

It was awarded the Best Short Film under 15 minutes and prize for Best photography by Askild Vik Edvardsen, which means that it can now be a candidate for the forthcoming Oscar nominations in Los Angeles.
Award winner at several festivals including Berlin and Cannes, Jens Jonsson has directed many other short films such as My Brother and Reparation. Spaden was produced by Rebecka Lafrenz for Mammas Gata.
