To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Wallonie Bruxelles Images will be attending the upcoming MIPCOM event (the International Market of Films and TV, Video, Cable and Satellite programmes) taking place in Cannes from October 10 to 14. The WBI delegation will include members of 22 independent production, distribution and post-production companies.

7 of these businesses will be in the spotlight for the projects they are planning to present: - MediaDreams Productions, set up in 1999, which is showing 2 new documentaries, D'une ampoule à l'autre and Jean-Jacques Perrey: musicien extra-terrestre.
- Everlasting Prod, started up in 2002, will be presenting Dans la chaleur de la nuit, La revanche des gitans and the Trauma documentary series.
- CBA/WIP Sales is putting forward the documentary La raison du plus fort by Patric Jean (which has already had a successful outing at various festivals) and Nosotros by Diego Martinez Vignatti.
- Odec-Kid Cartoons will be presenting animation projects like Inami, Fritz et Wally and Les contes d'Humahuaca.
- Wajnbrosse Productions which has already produced and distributed 2000 works made up of shorts, feature length films and documentaries.
- Les Films de la Passerelle will be launching the double DVD set of the famous documentary Mobutu, roi du Zaïre by Thierry Michel, made with Studio l'Equipe and Cinéart.
- Christian Mesnil will be presenting the DVD of his film, L'amoureuse.
