To give the highest possible visibility to Cinedays, Canal + has decided to make announcements about its special events during the weekly programme, "C du CINEMA", and to broadcast daily updates from October 10. The 6 Cinecinema channels on terrestrial, cable and satellite, will broadcast the Cinedays advert, while the magazine programme about film news, "Bord Cadre" will also be promoting the European event. Finally, the "Cinecinema Auteur" channel will show the advert before the start of each of the 10 films selected for the event.

The programme is filled with the riches of European filmmaking talent, like the special week dedicated to Aki Kaurismaki on "Cinecinema Auteur" from October 11 to 17, 2003. "Cinecinema Classic" will be showing a series of films by Ingmar Begman and a Toto & Monicelli evening.
For domestic cinema there’s a focus on Isabelle Adjani, Juliette Binoche and Karin Viard and there’ll be around a dozen French films, from recent productions to works by masters from the past.
