Running in parallel with the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund (21-27 August), New Nordic Films aims to bring the newest trends of the region in four days, 24-27 August, both on site and also in a special online edition. As always, the programme includes a selection of market screenings, work-in-progress presentations, projects in development, a number of Haugesund talks and a series of professional and social events onsite.

The opening film of the market screenings is the large-scale period drama Margrete – Queen of the North [+see also:
