Dovile’s life is shaken by her father’s death. But there is no time to mourn, as she must urgently organise the funeral. Trying to make it perfect, Dovile takes care of every detail and finds herself in increasingly bizarre situations. In the meantime, her childhood memories are chasing her.

film profile], taking part in the First Feature Competition of this year’s Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (12-28 November – see the news). An alumna of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Šarutytė previously worked on several shorts, such as Nasty Dream (2008), I Know You (2009) and 8 Minutes (2016), the winner of the Award for Best Lithuanian Short Film at the Scanorama Film Forum.
The main cast of this feature includes Agnė Misiūnaitė, Nelė Savičenko, Kęstutis Jakštas, Inga Maškarina and Romuald Lavrinovič.
Feature Film About Life is a Studio Uljana Kim presentation, with backing from pubcaster LRT and the Lithuanian Film Centre. Italy’s TVCO is in charge of its world sales.
