Written by Julien Rigoulot, the story follows Jean who needs to recover from his wounds and subsequently pins his hopes on an improbable miracle: his ten-year-old son Loulou is the new Messiah, he’s sure of it!

Petit Jésus is produced by Laetitia Galitzine on behalf of Chapka Films, in co-production with Canada’s ITEM 7. The feature film is pre-purchased by OCS and enjoys further support from the Occitanie region. The film will be shot over six weeks in Narbonne and the surrounding area, between 30 May and 8 July, with Emmanuel Soyer heading up photography. Distribution in France will be steered by Wild Bunch while international sales fall to Other Angle.

which will be released in France on 16 November via Tandem. Starring Julia Piaton, Bruno Todeschini, Benjamin Lavernhe and Hakim Jemili, the film unfurls on the road to Briançon where David’s car hits a young migrant who’s being hunted by the police. Acting on instinct, David hides him in the boot of his car and takes him to his partner Gabrielle’s house, where she lives with her two children. Shaken by the teen’s fate, David commits to helping him whatever the cost… This feature film will also be sold by Other Angle.
