) wrote the script. The thriller is set in the cities of Frankfurt and Cologne, and it tells of a complicated love story that puts the protagonists’ lives in jeopardy. Police officer Robert goes undercover in order to thwart a large-scale dealer. To win his trust, he pretends to be in a relationship with trans woman Leni, but this is very difficult for the homosexual Robert, who is simultaneously attracted to and repelled by her. Of all people, it's the dealer and criminal he has to arrest who helps him discover his true feelings.

In the thriller, everything revolves around these three characters. They are played by German actors Timocin Ziegler and Michael Sideris (Baader) as well as Austrian actress Thea Ehre. Ziegler has so far mainly acted on stage and is starting his movie career with this film. Sideris, on the other hand, is an experienced thesp, whose filmography includes a string of German film and TV productions. As for Ehre, she started her film career in 2020; she has so far acted on stage and is a committed trans activist.

The film is a production by Heimatfilm GmbH + Co KG in collaboration with TV channels WDR and ARTE. The funding of the movie has been supported by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, HessenFilm und Medien, the BKM (Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Medien) and the DFFF. Grand Film is in charge of the distribution of the movie in Germany, and The Match Factory handles its international sales. The feature will be released in the autumn of 2023.
