After being fired from her job, Ren (Carmen Madonia), an aspiring writer and mid-twenty-something, accompanies her Canadian-Italian family on vacation. The realities of being a stunted millennial and a trans woman coalesce as Ren struggles to balance the yearning for independence with the comfort of being taken care of.

, the first feature film by Canadian-Italian director Luis De Filippis., which has just left the Toronto Film Festival with the Shawn Mendes Foundation Changemaker Award, therefore becoming one of the only two European-produced titles to be awarded at this year's edition of the festival. The film is now playing in the New Director section of the 70th San Sebastián International Film Festival.
