Six films have been added to the European Film Awards’ 2022 film selections

by 

- A total of 49 films will vie for the awards, after five fiction films and one documentary film join the previously-announced selection of titles

After the earlier announcement of 30 feature and 13 documentary films (read news and news) that are part of the European Film Academy’s 2022 Film Selection, six more titles have been added to the shortlist for the European Film Awards: five feature films and one documentary film. They have been chosen by the European Film Academy Board – consulted by a diverse range of European invited experts. The nominations of the European Film Awards will be revealed on 8 November. The European Film Awards will be presented on 10 December in Reykjavík, Iceland, honouring the greatest achievements in European cinema.
