The cast of this new opus, written under the influence of H.P. Written by Mathieu Turi, the script plunges into 1956, in the north of France. A group of underground miners are forced to bring a professor 1000 metres underground to take samples. After a landslide that prevents them from going back up, they discover a crypt from another time, and unknowingly awaken a legendary bloodthirsty creature…

Produced by Éric Gendarme, Thomas Lubeau and Jordan Sarralie for Full Time Studio, The Deep Dark is co-produced by Marcel Films. Pre-purchased by OCS (first window) and Amazon Prime Video (second window), the feature will benefit from seven weeks of shooting (two in the Hauts de France and a little over four in the Ile-de-France region, plus two days in the Périgord and two more in Morocco) with Alain Duplantier (nominated for the Lumière de l'Image award in 2018 for The Sower [+see also:
