Pathé partners with Logical Content Ventures
- A three-year co-production and co-financing partnership will open around twenty Pathé films to private investors, via the funds operated by Logical Pictures

A rather atypical player in the French landscape when it was first created in 2016, Logical Pictures (read our interview from June 2022 with its president Fréderic Fiore) continues its ascent and its original integration into the French film industry. The powerful group Pathé has indeed decided to open up the financing of all its productions over the next three years to the Logical Content Ventures fund. More than 20 films will be affected by this co-production and co-financing agreement, starting with Acide by Just Philippot (produced with Bonne Pioche – read the news), Limonov by Kirill Serebrennikov (produced with Chapter 2, Wildside and Fremantle – read the news) but also La vie pour de vrai by Dany Boon (produced by Pathé with 26DB Productions).
"Finding innovative models to finance the films of tomorrow and giving ourselves the means for great cinematic ambitions is key if we want to adapt to a changing world. The agreement with Logical Pictures will allow us to sustain our investment capacity to produce a greater number of ambitious films,” underlines Ardavan Safaee, president of Pathé Films.
“We are happy and proud to partner today with Pathé, an iconic cinema brand and a leader of the industry in France and in Europe. As part of our fundraising efforts, we are therefore for the first time giving private investors the possibility to participate in the financing of films produced by Pathé. We are offering the opportunity to invest in a solid, acyclic and growing asset and to contribute all the while to the creation of a heritage catalogue on the long term, which Pathé has been building over the years, explains Frédéric Fiore.
