Europa Distribution to explore the distribution of animated films at Cartoon Movie

02/03/2023 - A closed workshop will host case studies on recent European animation films’ releases, in various markets

Europa Distribution is back on the road, traveling to Bordeaux to renew its collaboration with Cartoon Movie (7-10 March). This partnership, established in 2009, aims to facilitate the access for independent film publishers and distributors to the most important market and pitching event dedicated to European animated films. It is also an important opportunity for the European Network to focus on its members’ release strategies, promotional campaigns and innovative projects, in this case with a focus on animation.

A closed workshop will take place on Tuesday 7 March and host case studies on recent European animation films’ releases, in various markets. ED members Adeline Margueron (Le Parc Distribution, Belgium), Alexis Hofmann (BAC Films, France), Beata Mrazikova (Aerofilms, Czech Republic), Laure Caillol (Haut et Court, France), Lotte Sejersted (Selmer Media, Norway), Rose-Marie Strand (Folkets Bio, Sweden), Milica Joksimović (MCF Megacom, Serbia) and Vivien Vande Kerckhove (O’Brother Distribution, Belgium) will share their marketing and release strategies for the following films: Even Mice Belong in Heaven [+see also:
