CIIF Market registration open for new projects
Last year's edition of the CIIF Market

CIIF Market 2023 is the 19th edition of the Canary Islands International Film Market, which will take place from 12-16 June in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is a strategic event that aims to attract producers and investments, promote meetings between industry professionals, and encourage co-productions of film and audiovisual projects destined for the European and international markets.

Participants can register projects for fiction or documentary feature films, TV movies and TV series at the development stage. They must be seeking financing with at least 20% already secured. A maximum of 12 projects will be selected for the National and International Section, and up to five Canary Islands projects will be presented in the Focus Canarias Section.

The event will offer personalised agendas of appointments, one-to-one meetings, and pitching sessions with film and audiovisual industry professionals, as well as access to all market and networking activities. The selected projects will also be eligible for various prizes to boost their promotion abroad.

To participate, projects must be recent and unpublished, and must not have exhausted all possible sources of funding. The final selection will seek to strike a balance between commercial projects and others entailing greater creative risk. The event also maintains regular collaboration agreements with various industry partners and will award six prizes to promote the development and internationalisation of film and audiovisual productions.
