These producers come from 10 different countries across the Old Continent and they’ll be meeting in Paris between December 4 and 7, then for another week in the city of Cognac, for training sessions, seminars and the development of personal projects. During the preliminary ateliers in Paris, the 15 producers will have a chance to have their projects analysed by a series of special consultants, who will examine their ideas in-depth, looking at the writing and the funding opportunities. Then, in Cognac, around 20 consultants (working in sales, distribution, writing, financing and other producers) will look at the merits of the projects, with presentations, pitching sessions, an analysis of the international audiovisual sector and even plans of financial balance sheets. The 15 producers will form part of the ACE network of 128 European producers and their work will be monitored and supported over the course of a year.

These are the names of the 15 producers chosen to take part in the ateliers: Margery Bone (Bonafide Films - Britain), Jacques- Henri Bronckart (Versus Production - Belgium), Helena Danielsson (Heppfilm - Sweden), Andrejs Ekis (Plaforma Filma - Latvia), Edwina Forkin (Zanzibar Films - Ireland), Darius Jablonski (Apple Film - Poland), Nerys Lloyd (Boda - Wales), Edouard Mauriat (Mille et Une Productions - France), Martine Niland (Samson Films - Ireland), Liam O'Neill (Paradox Pictures - Ireland), Annette Pisacane (Cameo Film - Germany), Karen Smith (La Belle Allee Productions - Scotland), Tiziana Soudani (Amka Films - Switzerland) , Pavel Strnad (Negativ Film Productions - Czech Republic) and Gilles-Marie Tine (Arcapix - France).
