The Swedish Film Institute (SFI) has just appointed Anne-Marie Söhrman Fermelin as Short film Consultant. She takes over from Jesper Bergom-Larsson.

Söhrman Fermelin will start her new job in January 2004. She has been an active producer since 1999. One of her most recent productions was November Snö (“Snow In November”), directed by Karolina Jonsson, which was selected in official competition at the last Cannes Film Festival.
She also produced the teenage feature film Beautiful Fall for Gilda Film, which will be released locally by Scanbox, in September 2004.
