There’ll be lots of guests and a whole host of facts and figures about the current state of the Italian cinema industry at the 20th edition of the Sorrento Screenings, taking place from December 2-5, 2003. Those taking part in the event include Leonardo Pieraccioni, Vincenzo Salemme, Carlo Verdone, Silvio Soldini, Mario Martone, Vincenzo Marra, Alex Infascelli and Eros Puglielli.

The Screenings will feature many premieres, as well as trailers for films that are soon due to be released in Italian cinemas. On Thursday December 4, there’ll be a presentation of the figures showing how the Italian cinematographic market is faring in 2003, and there will also be an outline of the first results of the research into 'non cinemagoers”, which has been done by the Sociology and Communications Department at the Rome University.
