, Maria Simon, has won the prize as Best Actress as part of the German "Shooting stars" prizes for 2004. Simon, who was also acclaimed for her performance in Lichter by Hans-Christian Schmidt at the last Berlin Film Festival, can also be seen on the big screen starring alongside Ralph Fiennes in Luther. The prize for Best Debut Actor went to Daniel Brühl, Simon's co-star in the film by Wolfgang Becker.
