Salvatore Mereu in Rotterdam

An Italian first work is being presented at another prestigious showcase: it’s Ballo a tre passi by Salvatore Mereu. The film has already been awarded at Critics’ Week at the last edition of the Venice Film Festival. After being chosen to be shown at Robert Redford’s Sundance Film Festival, the film by the Sardinian director has now been chosen to appear in competition at the upcoming Rotterdam 'International Film Festival', taking place ni the Dutch city from January 21 to February 1, 2004. Ballo a tre passi will be competing for the 'Tiger Awards', dedicated to first or second works by directors from around the world. It will be competing against another 13 films.
