Boldi-De Sica right at the top

Natale in India starring the pair of Boldi-De Sica, has immediately taken first place at the box office, beating all other rival Christmas films. This film by Neri Parenti has taken first place at Cinetel with 4,318,461 euros and the highest average per cinema of 8.698 euros. Second place with 1,825,126 euros is the Leonardo Pieraccioni comedy entitled Il paradiso all'improvviso, while Disney’s Alla scoperta di Nemo slipped to third place with 1,389,263 euros last weekend and more than 11 million euros.

Master & Commander, Peter Weir’s new film starring Russell Crowe follows in fourth place (1,351,870 euros), while La macchia umana, with Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins (514,506 euro) is in fifth. Sixth In the Cut, is the thriller by Jane Campion withMeg Ryan (498,254 euros), seventh Mona Lisa Smile with Julia Roberts (413,127 euros), eighth Ho visto le stelle by Vincenzo Salemme (256,117 euros). The classification closes with the live-action feature with Bugs Bunny and Brendan Freaser, Looney Tunes: Back in Action (ninth con 198,765 euros), and the Dreamworks cartoon Sinbad (tenth with 173,301 euros).
