Live and Become was produced by the French company Elzévir in partnership with RTL in Belgium, and Cattleya in Italy. It has already been bought by 25 countries, including Great-Britain and Ireland (Content), Germany, Scandinavia, Finland (F.I.P. Future Film), Spain (Golem Distribución), Switzerland, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, ex-Yugoslavia, Rumania, Austria, and Italy (Medusa Film). Another film seduced many buyers, Didar Domehri, international sales manager for Films Distribution, points out : it is Le fil à la patte by Michel Deville starring Emmanuelle Béart and Charles Berling. It was sold to Spain, the Benelux, Switzerland, Turkey, Canada, and Scandinavia via the Norwegian company AS Fidalgo. Last but not least, the Belgian film Ultranova by Bouli Lanners which won the Cicae Prize in Berlin, convinced Scandinavia (F.I.P. Future Film), Switzerland, and France, as well as many festivals which sollicited its presence, which allows even greater expectations for this film.
Prospects are also good for Joyeux Noël by Christian Carion starring Daniel Bruhl, Guillaume Canet, and Diane Kruger. Agreements for sales, based on the ‘promo-reel’, have already been reached with Canada, Australia, New-Zealand, and Greece.
