The Portuguese company Lusomundo is one of the European distributing companies that will participate in Cartoon Movie 2005, which will take place between the 10th and 12th of march in Potsdam (Germany).
Lusomundo is one of the most important distributors in Portugal and also one of the most active to promote animation films. The current company's catalogue includes the premiere of three European feature films: Pinocchio 3000 by Daniel Robichaud, a futuristic version of the famous puppet's story, The magic roundabout, directed by Jean Duval, Frank Passinghan and Dave Borthwick, and El Sueño de una noche de San Juan by Manolo Goméz and Angel de la Cruz, the creators of El Bosque who return now with a film based on William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

Created seven years ago by the European Association of Animation Film with the support of the MEDIA programme, Cartoon Movie is a forum aiming to promote the contacts between distributors, investors and producers with the goal to accelerate the financing and distribution process of animation films in Europe.
