Stellan Skarsgård at the Dream Factory

- Stellan Skarsgård will be discussing his career and the art of acting on 30 April at the fifth edition of the Dream Factory mini-Festival, which will take place in Stockholm between the 28th and 30th of april

Gothenburg-born actor Stellan Skarsgård will be discussing his career and the art of acting on 30 April at the Dream Factory (Drömfabriken) mini-Festival in Stockholm’s ‘Film house (Filmhuset). Skarsgård who has been enrolled to play in the two upcoming sequels to Pirates Of The Caribbeans will be among 40 other guest stars attending the three-days festival from 28-30 April which will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year.

Fellow actors Mikael Persbrandt (Day & Night), Frida Hallgren (As It Is In Heaven [+see also:

) and Andres Wilson (Evil) will be on the panel with Skarsgård, while German producer Maria Köpf from X-Filme (Good By Lenin!) will talk about her collaboration with director Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) and how X-Filme has become one of the top production and distribution companies in Germany.
Animation in Sweden will be another hot topic and world leading specialists will be on hand to talk about their own experience: Kyle Balda from Hollywood-based Pixar studios, and Kresten Vestbjerg Andersen from Scandinavia’s largest animation company A Film.

Other established Swedish film professionals will attend the Dream Factory such as the director Ulf Malmros who will show some footage of his new film God Save The King (Tjenare kungen), and casting director Imor Hermann who worked on Lukas Moodysson’s Together (Tillsammans) and on Kristina Humle’s Love & Happiness (Krama Mig).
Last year the Dream Factory attracted over 1,000 participants
