New president at the Swedish Producers association

Producer Christer Nilson (Götafilm AB) is the new Head of Sveriges Filmproducenter (SFP), the Swedish Film Producers’ association in replacement of Anita Oxburgh (Migma Film AB).
Member of the Federation Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films (FIAPF), the SFP is also a key advisor and partner in the agreement between the Swedish government and the Swedish film industry and its input was essential in the drafting of the new Film Law which should come into force next May.

Christer Nilson set up his own production company Göta Film in 1989. Among the recent feature films he produced are Ulf Malmros’ Slim Suzy (Smala Sussie) and Kristian Petri’s critically-acclaimed Details (Detaljer) co-produced with Denmark (Moonlight Filmproduction), the UK (Globe Entertainment) and Italy (Leading Entertainment). He also teaches film production at Trollhättan’s High School HTU.
The SFP’s other board members include Anna Croneman (Bob Film), Anne Ingvar (Nordisk Film), Lars Jönsson (Memfis Film), Börje Hansson (FilmLance International), Joakim Hansson (Sonet Film), and Peter Hiltunen (Illusion Film).
