The 3 Rooms soon to open in the US

Kristiina Pervilä’s The 3 Rooms of Melancholia is set to open in the US on 27 April in New York Film Forum, with US distributor First Run/Icarus Films handling the general US release of the film.
The film sold internationally by Deckert Distribution GmbH, has racked a dozen international awards, the most recent ones being the Special Mention given by the jury of the DocAviv-Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival (7-16 April) and the ‘Arie & Bozena Zweig Innovation Award’ received at the Chicago International Documentary Festival (1-10 April).
Produced by Millennium Film Oy, The 3 Rooms of Melancholia indicates new ways of portraying a tragic situation (children’s fate in Russia, Chechnya and Ingushetia) focusing on the idea that the individual can make the difference.
