Swiss cinema at Montréal

Eight Swiss films and co-productions are showing at the 29th Montreal World Film Festival, running from the 26th August to the 5th September. Co-production between Austria, Luxembourg, UK, Germany and Switzerland (T&C Film, Zurich), Headsman (Le Bourreau) from Swiss director Simon Aeby is screened in international competition. The section Documentaries of the world presents Coca - La colombe de Tchétchénie by Eric Bergkraut and Brasileirinho by Finnish filmmaker Mika Kaurismäki, produced by Swiss Marco Forster, two films with world premieres at the Berlin Festival. Co-production between Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland (PCT Cinéma & Télévision, Martigny), Belhorizon from the Belgian director Ines Rabadan is selected in the section Focus on World Cinema.
