.

The comic book Lune de Guerre by Belgians Huppen Hermann (illustrator, among others, of Jérémiah) Jean Van Hamme (writer of Thorgal, Largo Winch and the series 13) was adapted to the screen by the director Van Hamme. Everything seems to be going well in this story about marriage, it starts with a banquet, then the bride and her mother-in-law end up in jail. The father of the groom organises a veritable siege on the jail to release the hostages and as night falls, the banquet transforms into a bloodbath and battle scene. Dominique Deruddere directs his sixth feature. In 2000, Everybody Famous (Iedereen Beroemd!) allowed the Flemish director to see him nominated for the Oscars in the category of Best Foreign Film.
