Verdone and Muccino team up
Il mio miglior nemico ('My Best Enemy'), by Carlo Verdone, started shooting yesterday in Rome. The film, written by Verdone and Silvio Muccino, in collaboration with Pasquale Plastino and Silvia Ranfagni, is produced by Filmauro. The director and the young actor Silvio Muccino met on the set of Manuale d'amore and decided, encouraged by Aurelio De Laurentiis, to put together a script on generational conflicts and exchanges.
The two main characters, a dejected young Roman and a ruthless businessman, travel all over Italy and Europe and, throughout the eventful trip, discovering their differences and similarities.
When the Roman scenes have been completed, the set will move to Berlin.
