Italian Screenings in Perugia

- 50 international exporters will see almost 20 recent Italian films in Perugia from 4-7 July

After the resounding success of the first edition of Italian Screenings, Italia Cinema, ICE (the Italian Foreign Trade Commission) through their Project «Filmare», UNEFA (World sales association) and the municipality of Perugia hold the 2nd edition in Perugia from July 4-7. The "Screenings" are an important opportunity for international buyers to see the best of recent Italian productions and this year, 20 titles were selected. They include Silvio Soldini's Burning in the Wind, Emidio Greco's The Council of Egypt, Luca Miniero and Paolo Genovese's Incantesimo napoletano, Gabriele Salvatores' Amnèsia, Renato De Maria's Paz!, Alessandro D'Alatri's Casomai, Cristina Comencinis's Il più bel giorno della mia vita and Laura Muscardin's Giorni. Several of the films were first presented at Cannes, Berlin or AMF.
All screenings will take place in the baroque S. Cecilia auditorium and in the 17th Century Pavone amphitheatre and the Screenings places a video library of over 80 titles at the disposal of those taking part.
