Triumph for Roma at Cinespaña

The Spanish production Roma directed by Argentinean Adolfo Aristarain dominated the 10th edition of the Spanish film festival in Toulouse (Cinespaña) picking up three prizes, including Violette d'Or for best film, the feature produced by Tesela Producciones Cinematograficas and Aristarain P.C also won Best Screenplay (Adolfo Aristarain, Mario Camus and Kathy Saavedra) and Best Actress (Susu Pecoraro).

As for Best Male, Madrid actor Alberto San Juan was honoured for his performance in Horas de Luz by Manolo Matji, produced by Sociedad General de Cine - Sogecine and Telemadrid with the participation of TVE - Televisión Española and of Canal +. The Public Prize went to Para que no me olvides, third feature from Spanish Patricia Ferreira which was produced by Continental Producciones and Televisión de Galicia with the participation of TVE and also Canal +.
