Sonet Film closer to Pan Vision

Sonet Film , the leading domestic distributor of Swedish films, part of MTG, and PAN Vision owned by KF Media, have just signed a long term agreement for the video distribution in the Nordic countries, theatrical distribution in Norway, Denmark and Finland and co-production activities on all upcoming films from Sonet Film.
The partnership will start on 1rst January 2006, and the first film to be co-produced by PAN Vision will be Anders Nilsson’s new thriller När Mörket faller (When Darkness Falls) which will start shooting on 16 January until 24 March 2006 in Trollhättan, with a release date pencilled for the autumn 2006. Nilsson who directed the domestic hits Zero Tolerance (1999) and The Third Wave (2004) will work closely with Sonet Film’s producer Joakim Jansson, who will co-produce with Film i Väst, TV3, the Swedish Film Institute, as well as Multimedia Film und Fernseh and Film Förderung Hamburg in Germany. In the lead roles will be Lia Boysen, Reuben Sallmander, Per Graffman and Peter Engman.
On the video distribution side, among the first Sonet titles to be released by PAN Vision starting next January are Josef Fares’s Zozo [+see also:

and Lisa Ohlin’s Sex Hopp & Kärlek (Sex, Hope and Love).

Staffan Wallhem from Sonet Film added that thanks to the partnership with PAN Vision, his company will be able to expand on the Scandinavian market and continue producing Swedish films with a stronger safety net.
