European revenge

by

After several weeks of North American invasions, the Dutch screens take their revenge thanks to a panorama of four European films which will be in competition with the single American production of the week: the very European Casanova from the Swede now living in the States-Unis, Lasse Hallström.

RCV bring another film from the UK to the screens, The Dark, from Canadian adopted British, John Fawcett, specialist in horror and suspense for TV. Co-produced by Impact Pictures with German Constantin Film who also handle international rights, The Dark is an adaptation of a book by Englishman Simon Maginn, "Sheep By", the story of a couple, who, after the death of their granddaughter, find knocking on their door another child who strangely resembles her.
