by Christian Vincent now joins the list of those selected, the other being Camping sauvage by the duo Christophe Ali - Nicolas Bonilauri (read news). Interpreted by Isabelle Carré, José Garcia and François Cluzet, the 7th feature by Christian Vincent, which follows the misadventures of a student (Isabelle Carré) who is bored on Jura and decides to head off to the Côte d'Azur having been left a small amount of money. But a meeting with a friendly crook (José Garcia) will propel her into the world of specialists grifters, among them François Cluzet who plays a former racing driver. Produced by Fidélité Productions with a budget of 8,9 million euros with 2,7 million invested by TF1 Films Production, Four Stars which was written by the filmmaker and Olivier Dazat (Podium, Himalaya, l'enfance d'un chef) is sold internationally by StudioCanal and comes out on the 26th of April in the French theatres through Mars Distribution.

Two French co-productions are also present in the Berlin Panorama. Produced by Les Films de Cinéma, Les oiseaux du ciel (The birds of the sky), the second fiction feature from Eliane de Latour (special mention at Locarno in 2000 for Bronx-Barbès) had a budget of 1,8 million euros, including notably a British contribution from Autonomous, support from French companies Les Films d'Ici and Les Films du lendemain, and 400 000 euros in presale and co-production from Arte France Cinéma. With a cast of Fraser James, Djédjé Apali and Marie-Josée Croze, the film recounts the delicate peregrinations in Europe of two friends from the Ivory Coast. Finally, France also participated in the production of the Iraqi feature Narcissus Blossom by Masoud Arif Salih and Hussein Hassan Ali.
