Kim Rossi Stuart: "Terrible screenings"

"In Italy, theatres have become terrible. Films are penalised by the bad screening conditions", said director Kim Rossi Stuart, who took advantage of the presentation of his film Along the Ridge at the Cannes Film Festival to launch an appeal.

As Stuart told Cineuropa: "On the day my film was released in Rome, I went to various theatres to discover that my film had turned sepia. A cinematographer works his socks off to create a natural light and his efforts are ruined by badly set projectors".
