The Swiss on the Eastern Front
Five Swiss co-productions will be screened at the 41st Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (June 30-July 8), which in recent years has been increasingly interested in Swiss cinema.

film profile] by Ruxandra Zenide will take part in the East of the West competition, while the documentary Josh’s Trees by Peter Entell (Show and Tell Films, Founex) will be presented in the Another View section.
The Variety Critics’ Choice selection – which includes ten European films chosen by the US trade magazine, with the collaboration of European Film Promotion (EFP) (see Cineuropa’s Special Report) – will also be host to the Swiss-German feature KussKuss, co-produced and directed by Swiss filmmaker Sören Senn (Hochschule fuer Film & Fernsehen "Konrad Wolf", Postdam-Babelsberg and Novapool Production, Berlin).
