Results of call for proposals announced

Following a rather long administrative procedure, due to the development of the new 2007-2013 programme, the MEDIA Programme has published the results of its latest call for proposals.
The training sector has allocated €7,450,000 for 51 projects; 86 projects will receive €5,545,000 in the development sector; selective distribution has allocated €3,418,500 to 20 distributor groups to carry out 35 distribution campaigns; and television broadcasting (independent producers) has allocated a total sum of €3,666,000 to 24 television projects.
The beneficiary to receive the highest sum was French company Marathon, who will receive €500,000 for an animated series (TV broadcasting section).
