film profile] by Pedro Almodovar and Breaking and Entering by Anthony Minghella are among the films that Bulgarian audiences will be able to see premiering at the 20th edition of Kinomania (November 3-23) at the National Palace of Culture (NDK), the Lumiere Centre and the Odeon cinemas of Sofia. For the first time in the festival’s history, a cinema outside the capital will also screen films: Lucky movie theatre in Plovdiv.
Kinomania opens tonight (at 7:30 pm) with Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. Of the 72 films programmed, at least 50 will not have regular distribution in Bulgaria, which makes the event a unique opportunity to see numerous European and Asian films.
