Princess wins Future FF of Bologna

There were over 110 screenings and events, 17 feature premieres, 26 animated series and more than 30,000 spectators in the five days dedicated to animated cinema and new technologies of the image that is the Future Film Festival 2007 of Bologna, which ended with yesterday’s awards ceremony.

The Lancia Platinum Grand Prize, given to the work that best utilises new digital technologies, went to Princess [+see also:

The Future Film Festival Digital Award, presented to an Italian entry by the festival in collaboration with NewTek, was given to Reactine by Massimiliano Rocchetti of Mercurio SPQR (first prize) and to Citroen C2 Corvi by Matteo Pellegrini of Ubik (second prize).

One of the festival’s biggest events was the screening of Luc Besson’s Arthur and the Invisibles [+see also:

, which is an enormous box office success in France and will soon be out on Italian screens.
