Antonio Hernández to shoot spy thriller

by

With El menor de los males still in post-production (see news), Antonio Hernández is already about to finish the script of his upcoming film Gabor, co-written with Ramón Campos.

Announced as a thriller based on the real life of Juan Pujol, alias Gabor - a Catalonia-born double agent whose actions and fake reports lead the Nazis to believe the allied invasion of Europe would happen in Calais and not in Normandy – Gabor is set to be shot in Spanish and English towards the end of 2007 in Madrid, Lisbon and London. The cast has not yet been announced but is expected to include both local and international actors.

Gabor will be produced by Antena 3's film branch Ensueños Films and La Coruña-based Voz Audiovisual, and executive produced by Ricardo García Arrojo. The film is scheduled to open in 2008.
