New horizons for French/German co-productions

by

Under the direction of François Hurard (CNC) and Peter Dinges (FFA), the Franco-German commission met for the first time at the 57th Berlinale.

The 30-strong member commission studied a possible extension of the co-production agreement and mini-treaty between the two countries. It also voted unanimously in favour of development support.

As regards distribution support, the commission would like to increase support for production in order to remedy the fact that numerous French/German co-productions go unnoticed in the two countries.
