Seigner joins The Immortals

French actress Emmanuelle Seigner has joined the cast of a British, Luxemburg and Portughese co-production entitled Os imortais, (The Immortals) that went into production on 15 September, directed by Antonio-Pedro Vasconcelos.
The story begins in the seventies during a colonial conflict in Africa in which four military leaders take part, and fast-forwards to 1985 and to Portugal to see what became of them Seigner plays a Franco-Portughese woman married to a lawyer and the cast also includes Joaquim de Almeida, Nicolau Breyner, Rogério Samora, Rui Unas, Ana Padrao, Alexandra Lencastre, Maria Rueff and Joaquim Nicolau.
