Greek Cinema to visit Sao Paolo
The city of Sao Paolo and the Greek Consul General in Brazil, with support from the Greek Film Center, have organised a tribute to Greek cinema that will run from 23-29 September. “The idea is to introduce and create awareness of contemporary Greek films amongst Greeks living in Brazil and also the natives of the South American country,” said the Greek Consul General in Sao Paolo. The films selected include Dimos Avdeliotis’ The Tree We Hurt, Olga Malea’s The Mating Game, Antonis Kokkinos’ End of An Era, Theo Angelopoulos’ Landscape in the Mist and Vangelis’ Serdaris’ Vassiliki.
